Who is behind bithaus.tech

bithaus.tech is an independent, small iOS studio based in Portugal (European Union). The studio focuses on location, GPS and trip-tracking apps, and keeps data collection minimal and GDPR-aware across every product.

Shipping since 2014

Our flagship app, GPS Speedometer for iPhone, has been on the App Store since 2014 and is still updated today. A second speedometer, Digital Speed, followed in 2018. More recently we have started shipping free browser tools that run without an install — you can find them on our tools page.

Support, straight from the makers

There is no support department: questions about the apps and the web tools are answered by the people who build them. That keeps feedback loops short — a well-described GPS quirk from a user has more than once turned into a fix in the next update. It also shapes what we ship: everything is designed to work without an account, collect as little data as possible, and keep working offline where GPS allows.
